Young Professionals for African Development (yPAD) is an online network that brings together Africa’s young professionals (under 45yrs) within Africa and the Diaspora, who are making a difference in the continent through their work and investments in NEPAD priority areas (such as food security; climate change and sustainable energy; health and education; transport and ICT infrastructure; economic and corporate governance)
The purpose of the NEPAD Council YPAD network is to give Africa’s young professionals the opportunity to collaborate and partner with the NEPAD Council as it seeks to achieve its mandate from the African Union.

Terms of Membership
yPAD is free to join via LinkedIn social network. yPAD members agree to support the efforts of the NEPAD Council (i.e. through sharing knowledge, expertise and resources). Members are encouraged to contribute to online discussions and collaborate with the NC and other yPAD members on african development iniatives.
